Along this tree-lined avenue in Berlin-Köpenick, a total of 120 roadside trees were regularly inspected for condition and public safety.

The aim of the project was not only to identify existing risks, but also to create a long-term and traceable management system for the entire tree population. Each tree was individually recorded in a structured tree inventory, including assessments of vitality, structural condition and potential hazards.

Based on the inspection results, a detailed action plan was prepared for necessary maintenance, pruning and safety measures. Appropriate inspection intervals were also defined according to each tree’s age, location, condition and level of risk.
